Alicia Consuegra Alvarez, vice president of Builders Title, received a Gold Award in the recent South Florida’s BEST Competition and Awards. She was recognized in the personal achievement category as Title Company Professional of the Year.

The annual competition, sponsored by the Builders Association of South Florida (BASF), The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald, evaluates the quality and value of products and professionals in the building industry. National industry experts judged nearly 400 entries in more than 24 categories.

Alvarez has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate service industry and has worked at Builders Title for four years. She is a member of the Association of Title Agents and the Latin Builders Association.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. A Florida resident for 34 years, Alvarez resides in Coral Gables with her husband.
